Film Fest

Don’t miss the first annual Alberta Burning Man Film Fest!
Experience the art, people, and phenomenon. In Calgary on Friday, May 24th at 8pm & in Edmonton on Sunday, May 26th at 315pm, Alberta will host a unique film festival which exposes audiences to the art, people and phenomenon known as Burning Man.

Once a year, tens of thousands of participants gather for Burning Man in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance. They depart one week later, having left no trace whatsoever. In addition to the annual event, Burning Man is also an ever-expanding year-round culture based on a set of Ten Principles, and a source of creative inspiration for communities around the world.

The evening will include documentary short and feature films, introductions by local ‘Burners’, performances, and unique artworks.
